Refer patient to your pharmacist if your patient;

is taking any medicines, especially if this condition has started since they began these medicines.
Has pre-existing eye conditions, such as glaucoma, wears contacts or takes medicated eye drops.
Has pre-existing health conditions such as diabetes, autoimmune diseases or is pregnant or is in menopause
If their vision is affected
If there are obvious signs of swelling, redness or coloured discharge coming from the eyes
They have not had success in the past treating their symptoms
