QSPP Onboarding Pathway
This QSPP Onboarding Pathway has been designed to guide pharmacies through the implementation and ongoing management of the Quality and Safety Pharmacy Program (QSPP) using Pharmacy Hive.
The modules are structured to align with the three key phases of the QSPP journey:
Phase 1: Getting Ready - Build understanding of the QSPP requirements, prepare your pharmacy, and ensure your platform is configured for success.
Module 1: QSPP Onboarding Overview, Platform Guide & Phases
Module 2: Get Pharmacy and Platform Ready
Phase 2: Building Your Management System - Develop your QSPP management system, establish compliance processes, and implement evidence collection workflows.
Module 3: Build Your QSPP Management System
Phase 3: Maintaining Compliance & Assessment Readiness - Use your management system effectively, generate evidence, maintain registers, and stay prepared for assessment at all times.

Phase 1: Getting Ready
Module 1: QSPP Onboarding Overview, Platform Guide & Phases
Purpose:
This introductory module provides an overview of the QSPP program, explains the Pharmacy Hive platform, and outlines the implementation phases that pharmacies will follow throughout their accreditation journey.

Module 2: Get Pharmacy and Platform Ready
Purpose:
Learn how to prepare your pharmacy and Pharmacy Hive platform for implementation. This module covers key setup activities, team preparation, and foundational tasks required before building your QSPP management system.

Phase 2: Building Your Management System
Module 3: Build Your QSPP Management System
Purpose:
This module guides pharmacies through the development of their QSPP management system within Pharmacy Hive. It demonstrates how policies, procedures, registers, evidence generation tools and governance processes work together to create a compliant and effective management framework.
Note: This module is currently undergoing minor updates to ensure all backend references and workflow examples align with the latest QSPP implementation approach.

Phase 3: Maintaining Compliance & Assessment Readiness
Module 4: Using QSPP QR Forms, Registers & Evidence
Purpose:
Learn how to use QR forms, registers and evidence generation tools to capture activities, demonstrate compliance, and maintain an accurate record of quality and safety activities within your pharmacy.

Module 5: Routine Monitoring & Staying Assessment Ready
Purpose:
This module focuses on maintaining compliance over time. Learn how to monitor performance, review registers, follow up outstanding actions, generate evidence, and remain assessment ready throughout the accreditation cycle.
